Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of complex rail-bound signaling systems, such as interlocking components, by conducting expert assessments and testing according to CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129). The engineer will be responsible for reviewing generic and specific applications based on technical documentation for both national and international manufacturers and operators of rail vehicles. Key tasks include evaluating specifications during the development of innovative safety-related elements and supporting planning and acceptance testing for metro and non-federally owned railways. The ideal candidate holds an electrical engineering or IT degree, possesses multi-year professional experience in rail control and safety technology, and demonstrates a meticulous, proactive, and quality-conscious work ethic, coupled with fluent German and English skills.
