Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer at TÜV SÜD, you will play a critical role in ensuring electrical safety and fire prevention across various technical systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting independent inspections of safety-related systems in accordance with building regulations, including emergency power supplies, safety lighting, and fire alarm systems. You will perform both pre-commissioning and periodic inspections of electrical installations and stationary equipment within your assigned region. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field of study; optional but preferred recognition as a VdS Expert or Building Law Inspector.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning, installation, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems
  • Experience in conducting technical inspections and safety assessments
  • Professional background in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Experience with building law and electrical engineering standards is preferred
