Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the electrical safety and preventing fire hazards in electrical systems as an independent expert within a specific region. The Electrical Engineering Expert will autonomously inspect safety-relevant systems, including electrical installations, emergency power supply, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and alerting systems, checking their function and suitability against applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-commissioning and recurring inspections of fixed electrical equipment, documenting deviations, and ensuring timely remediation of defects. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of building law and relevant electrotechnical standards, and ideally, existing certification as a recognized expert (Prüfsachverständige/r) or the willingness to undergo training. This position is crucial for maintaining public safety and trust in new technologies under the umbrella of TÜV SÜD.

Experience
