Job Summary

This role involves ensuring and improving electrical safety and preventing fire hazards in various electrical systems, focusing on general electrical installations, photovoltaic systems, and lightning protection. The expert consultant will independently conduct testing activities in the field of explosion protection, as well as perform initial and recurring inspections of electrical systems and stationary operating equipment. A key part of the job is conducting recurring inspections of portable electrical devices. Candidates must possess a successful degree as a certified technician or master electrician in electrical engineering or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience in the installation or operation of electrical systems. Experience in testing electrical systems is highly desirable. The position requires strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, particularly concerning the installation of electrical systems, network types, and protective measures. This is a crucial role within TÜV SÜD, contributing to safety, quality, and sustainability across new technologies.
