Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Specialist in Accounting and Finance to join one of Europe's largest air rescue organizations. The professional will be primarily responsible for preparing financial statements according to German Commercial Code (HGB), leading the consolidation of the group, and coordinating closing activities across various departments. A key focus involves leveraging expertise in SAP S/4HANA to actively shape and develop efficient financial processes during the system transformation. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of HGB, consolidation systems, and SAP, and will act as the main point of contact for auditors. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced accounting expertise in a critical, life-saving sector, ensuring the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on Accounting and/or Auditing
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting and consolidation of medium-sized corporate groups
- Experience gained in industry, auditing, or consulting
- Professional experience in evaluating complex accounting issues and providing recommendations
