Job Summary

This critical role involves leveraging deep expertise in German Commercial Code (HGB) and consolidation to manage the financial reporting processes for one of Europe's largest air rescue organizations. The specialist will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to national law (HGB), leading the consolidation of the corporate group, and coordinating closing activities across accounting, controlling, and specialized departments. A key responsibility includes evaluating complex accounting issues, advising on reporting options, and continuously optimizing bookkeeping processes. Furthermore, the role requires acting as the primary contact for external and internal auditors and actively driving the transformation and development of financial processes within the SAP S/4HANA system landscape.
