Job Summary

This role involves joining one of Germany's largest engineering firms, Deutsche Bahn, to oversee the construction and modernization of critical railway infrastructure. The Electrical Engineer, specializing in Control and Safety Technology (CST) or Electrical Engineering, will independently supervise the execution of complex construction projects, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include detailed documentation using electronic construction logs, managing construction accounting, identifying and tracking defects via specialized software, and participating in contract and supplementary management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering, possesses the required certification as a Construction Supervisor for CST, and is proficient in modern IT solutions, including digital construction logs and BIM technologies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to Germany's future infrastructure while utilizing cutting-edge mobile IT tools developed in-house.

Completed degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or Master) in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering; Completed training or authorization as an Electrical Engineer Construction Supervisor for Control and Safety Technology (LST) according to VV BAU-STE or for Electrical Systems (50Hz / Railway Power) according to VV BAU

Experience

  • Professional experience in railway infrastructure (ideally)
