Job Summary

This critical role involves actively shaping the security architecture of a leading university hospital, reporting directly to the Clinic Management. The Information Security Officer acts as a key driver, consultant, and bridge-builder between IT, Medicine, Research, and Administration, ensuring that information security is implemented pragmatically and risk-orientedly. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to standards like ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz, conducting risk analyses, and developing security policies. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in information security, preferably within healthcare or a highly regulated sector, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse audiences. This position offers significant strategic freedom, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to work in a highly meaningful and complex security environment.
