Job Summary

Join a competent IT service provider for tax administration and justice in Germany, focusing on developing cutting-edge AI software, specifically leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) within the KONSENS project. As a Backend Python Developer, you will be instrumental in the new conception and implementation of various AI systems, supporting tax administration from concept phase to production. Day-to-day tasks include adapting and creating new backend software using Python, integrating on-premise LLMs and other AI systems, and designing software interfaces. The role requires strong collaboration across teams (with Data Scientists, DevOps, and specialized departments) and involves automated testing, integration, deployment, and documentation. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a MINT subject and possess good German language skills (B2 minimum), coupled with foundational knowledge in Python and interface development architecture. This position offers a secure, future-oriented, and responsible role with flexible, family-friendly working hours and extensive home office options.

Bachelor's degree (Diplom (FH)) in a MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in adapting and creating backend software using Python
  • Experience in connecting and utilizing Large Language Models and other AI systems
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and pipelines (Desirable)
  • Experience in using container technology for software provisioning (Desirable)
