Job Summary

This role offers a dual function combining agile leadership with hands-on technical contribution within the ING's critical Payments IT Tribe. As the IT Chapter Lead, you will hold disciplinary, technical, and operational responsibility, focusing on developing team members' career paths, fostering their potential, and strategically advancing the Tribe. You are expected to be authentic and transparent while driving overarching tech initiatives. Simultaneously, in the operational role of Feature Engineer, you will be an active member of the Squad, managing the entire IT requirements lifecycle—from detailed analysis and conception through to successful implementation. Key responsibilities include developing business processes like Transaction Monitoring and Reconciliation, modernizing the IT system landscape using Microservice architectures and Cloud migration, conducting internal IT tests, and ensuring the stability of payment solutions through production and third-level support. This position requires strong banking sector expertise and a passion for agile change, offering a hybrid work model across Frankfurt, Nuremberg, or Hanover.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in the banking sector, specifically in private customer and/or SME business
  • Leadership experience (Disciplinary, technical, and operational responsibility)
  • Project experience (Agile and Classic methodologies)
  • Professional experience in IT requirements management
