Job Summary
As a Product Manager for Daily Banking in the Business Banking division, you will be responsible for shaping the future of SME and SMB financial services at Germany's third-largest private bank. Operating from Frankfurt or Berlin, you will design and implement innovative digital products, features, and 'beyond-banking' services from initial concept to market launch. Your daily activities involve analyzing market trends, conducting customer surveys to identify pain points, and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey. Working within an agile, interdisiplinary squad, you will translate customer needs into user stories and collaborate closely with IT to ensure system governance. This role is unique for its 'unbanky' startup mentality within a global banking leader, offering a high degree of creative freedom, a focus on sustainable solutions, and a hybrid work model that prioritizes work-life balance. You will also play a strategic role in evaluating external partners and vendors to expand the bank's service portfolio.
Required Skills
Education
Completed relevant university degree (e.g., Business Administration/Economics) or a comparable qualification in the banking/finance sector.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the banking environment or with FinTechs
- Proven experience in business development, product development, or sales
- Extensive knowledge of classic banking products for the SME/SMB segment
- Experience working with agile methods and interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating various stakeholders and managing end-to-end product launches
