Job Summary

This role is designed for a Junior Electrical Engineer to be trained over a 2-3 year paid qualification program to become a Construction Supervisor for Electrical Systems (Bauüberwacher Bahn). The successful candidate will be responsible for realizing electrical engineering construction projects, including overhead lines and 50Hz railway systems, working closely with planning teams and external partners. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating and documenting construction operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and monitoring costs, schedules, and quality. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent on-site supervising contracted partners' work, with the remaining 40% in the office handling coordination, documentation, and supporting project management with service specifications. This position offers a structured entry point into complex infrastructure projects within the DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, focusing on ensuring safe and smooth railway operations in the Northern region.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field

Experience
