Job Summary

This role involves leading complex infrastructure projects focused on the expansion and electrification of the Eifel railway line, specifically managing signaling technology components. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all phases—from planning and procurement through construction and testing—ensuring adherence to technical standards, deadlines, quality, and budget. Key day-to-day tasks include coordinating specialist planners, construction companies, and commercial teams, managing contract compliance, and serving as the primary contact for authorities and third parties. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, possesses several years of professional experience in construction project management (preferably rail infrastructure), and has strong knowledge of contract law (VOB, HOAI). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of Germany's largest infrastructure modernization efforts, making the rail network more future-oriented and efficient, based in Frankfurt am Main or Koblenz.
