Job Summary

The Wiring Harness Design Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end development and construction of 3D wiring harness models and assemblies using advanced CAD software, specifically CATIA. Key daily tasks include ensuring designs adhere strictly to constraints such as installation space, manufacturing feasibility, and repairability. The role requires creating comprehensive manufacturing-compliant drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation according to internal standards and customer specifications. Furthermore, the engineer will perform calculations for component dimensioning, coordinate design solutions with internal departments and external partners, and manage construction data within customer systems like PRISMA and SAP.
