This role involves ensuring the highest safety and quality standards for engine control systems within the aerospace industry. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing international development standards such as RTCA/DO-178C and RTCA/DO-254 for software and Complex Electronic Hardware (CEH). Your daily activities will include creating tailored development plans, conducting process audits of development suppliers, and analyzing quality requirements. You will act as a key QA representative in interdisciplinary teams and during regulatory authority meetings. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in implementing international standards for software and hardware development (RTCA/DO-178C, RTCA/DO-254)
  • Experience in creating and specifying quality requirements and development standards
  • Proven track record in conducting process audits and monitoring external development suppliers
  • Experience in participating in internal/external reviews and regulatory authority meetings
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and managing internal/external interfaces
