Job Summary
This role involves developing integrated concepts and scientifically sound positions to support the sustainability transformation of companies, particularly within the industrial sector. Key responsibilities include advancing environmental and sustainability reporting, sustainable supply chain management, and integrating environmental costs into financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in environmental, engineering, or economic sciences with a focus on sustainability management and possesses at least three years of relevant professional experience. Day-to-day tasks involve advising the Federal Government and European institutions, leading research projects, and representing the organization in national and international committees concerning sustainability reporting and environmental management. This position offers the opportunity to shape policy and drive socio-economic transformation within a secure public service environment, requiring strategic foresight, strong analytical skills, and fluency in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (or equivalent University Diploma) in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Economics, or Political Science, preferably with a focus on Environmental or Sustainability Management, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum three years of professional experience in environmental or sustainability management within companies or administrations
- Professional experience in corporate or political consulting or comparable fields
Languages
Additional
- Good knowledge of current technical, market, and legal transformation challenges facing German industry is desirable. Must possess strong presentation and communication skills, and gender competence.
