Job Summary

This role, based at Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, requires an Electrical Systems Configuration Designer to manage the configuration and pre-definition of electrical wiring, including geometry, routing, and fastening within the aircraft. You will serve as the critical interface between high-level systemic definitions and the creation of detailed installation and manufacturing drawings. Key responsibilities include evaluating large datasets using specialized Airbus tools, reviewing change requests for product impact, and contributing to the conceptual design of electrical systems defined within dedicated databases. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses professional experience in Change Management, Configuration Management, and design engineering. Proficiency in specialized tools like ICC, Catia V5, and APS, alongside fluent German and proficient English, is essential for success in this challenging and rewarding role within the aviation sector.
