Job Summary

This role involves managing operational purchasing activities, specifically focusing on electrical engineering components, for a high-end technology company specializing in complex logistics and documentation for the defense industry. Day-to-day tasks include handling order processing, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating closely with quality management and other internal departments. The professional will also be responsible for invoice verification, coordinating internal and external projects, and maintaining master data (suppliers, items, schedules). Key requirements include a commercial education or technical business administration background in electrical engineering, proven experience in technical procurement, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in export regulations (preferably US re-export). Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office and ERP systems (AMS), along with very good German and good English skills, are essential for success in this demanding role.

Education

Completed commercial training, Technical Business Administrator specializing in Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in procurement management of technical products
  • Experience with national and international procurement markets
  • Proficiency in conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts
  • Technical expertise in Export (preferably US Re-export)
