Job Summary

This role involves acting as an Embedded Software Developer for Airbus Defence and Space in Taufkirchen, focusing on the DeckFinder software. The developer will be responsible for the full software lifecycle, including implementation, unit testing, hardware integration, validation, and verification up to flight tests. Key tasks include ensuring compliance with requirements, producing test reports, managing release planning aligned with customer needs, and maintaining the DeckFinder software design. A core part of the role is liaising with systems engineering to define high- and low-level requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science, several years of IT/Information Systems experience, strong knowledge of C, and detailed experience in embedded systems, including schedulers, U-Boot, and firmware. Experience with airborne systems development, particularly DO-178B/C, is a significant advantage, making this a challenging and specialized position within the aerospace sector.
