The core responsibilities include the setup, installation, and maintenance of virtual and physical Linux servers, specifically utilizing RedHat Enterprise Linux and CentOS environments. Day-to-day tasks will involve performing 2nd Level Incident Management, analyzing complex faults for Problem Management, contributing to Operative Release Management for Core and Radio Networks, and handling Change and Configuration Management. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification, strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, switching, routing, and experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare. The position requires fluent German and English skills and offers the opportunity to work on critical national security communication networks.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Systems Management Assistant, or comparable qualification

Experience
