Job Summary

This role involves supporting infrastructure and hardware as a Technician/Electronics Specialist focusing on radio technology for a renowned customer in the aerospace industry located in Munich. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring radio devices for development and test laboratories, performing repair and upgrades on hardware and software components, and managing the equipment inventory. The specialist acts as a key contact for repair and modification requests, liaising closely with manufacturing and workshop facilities. A critical part of the job is proactive communication with the test team regarding defects, assisting in solution finding alongside hardware, firmware, and software teams, and tracking progress using Life-Cycle-Management tools like RTC and Jira. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electronics or radio technology, practical experience with SMD electronics (especially soldering), and knowledge of complex electronics such as FPGAs and embedded systems. Proficiency in Python programming is also preferred.
