Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Munich involves working as an ASIC Layout Engineer specializing in RF/Analog circuits for a renowned client in the aerospace industry. The core responsibilities include the design planning and implementation of RF/Analog SiGe-BiCMOS circuit modules using Cadence Virtuoso XL, actively supporting the design engineering team, and executing the complete verification flow, including DRC and LVS using Cadence Assura/PVS tools. A key part of the role is floorplanning in close collaboration with the RF-IC Design and RF System teams, alongside scripting tasks utilizing tools like Skill and Python. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering, coupled with several years of RF/Analog layout experience, deep knowledge of SiGe-BiCMOS processes, and expertise in layout techniques such as device matching and parasitic reduction. Strong German and English skills are desired for effective communication within the team.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of experience in RF/Analog layout
  • Extensive knowledge of SiGe-BiCMOS processes
  • Professional experience with layout techniques for Device Matching, Parasitic Reduction, RF Shielding, and optimal HF Cabling
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete design flow from schematic to GDSII, including verification and Process Design Kits
