Job Summary

This role involves working as a Maintenance Engineer specializing in Technical Building Equipment (TBE), focusing heavily on fire protection and safety systems for Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the entire maintenance lifecycle, from vendor selection and quotation processing to coordinating and supervising external contractors. The engineer will be responsible for creating work instructions, developing inspection and maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, including the Industrial Safety Ordinance. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in construction and project management, and deep knowledge of relevant standards (DIN/VDE/VDS). The ideal candidate must be proficient in German and English and comfortable with occasional on-call duty.
