Job Summary

This role as a Software Integration and Verification Engineer at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth involves ensuring the quality and compliance of embedded systems software, particularly against military and civil certification standards like DO-178C. Day-to-day responsibilities include the analysis, refinement, and maintenance of software requirements, defining comprehensive verification and test strategies, and developing automated or manual test scenarios and simulation models. You will conduct formal qualification tests on software test benches, evaluate results, perform thorough root cause analyses, and create high-quality verification documentation. A unique aspect of this position is the dual responsibility, as you will also act as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile processes, coordinating sprints, and coaching the team. Success requires a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, practical experience in embedded real-time software development and verification, and fluency in English coupled with good German skills.
