Job Summary

This role is for an IT Security Engineer dedicated to supporting the secure development of IT platforms for a renowned client in the aerospace and aviation sector located in Kiel. The core responsibilities include conducting thorough IT security analyses, assessments, and penetration tests, alongside verifying the effectiveness of existing security measures. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust IT security policies, procedures, and solutions, and will serve as the primary internal and external contact for security matters. A critical component of the job involves analyzing and remediating product security vulnerabilities (PSIRT) and implementing specific security specifications like DISA STIG. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or a related technical qualification, coupled with specialized knowledge of relevant security standards, Group Policy, SBOM, Git, VMs, and container technologies. Proficiency in both German and English is required for this challenging and permanent position.
