Job Summary

This role involves designing and detailing functional electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for complex electrical systems within the aerospace industry, specifically for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The Designer will be responsible for selecting and specifying electrical components (cables, connectors, sensors, actuators) based on performance, environmental conditions, and cost requirements. Key duties include creating technical drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation compliant with internal standards and customer needs. The successful candidate must collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Structural) to ensure seamless system integration and interface compatibility. Required qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, along with professional experience in functional electrical design and proficiency in relevant CAD tools like Aucotec: Engineering Base or Siemens Capital. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for communication and documentation purposes.
