Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Solution Architect focusing on IT system development within the defense communication technology sector, specifically specializing in IP-Routing and transmission media. The architect will be responsible for developing comprehensive IT concepts, creating configuration specifications for IT components and transmission systems (both soft- and hardware), and overseeing the implementation and commissioning processes. Key responsibilities include preparing, participating in, and evaluating field tests, while working closely with System Engineers and Architects. The position requires a background in computer science or electrical engineering, expertise in integrating data transmission systems and networks, and strong knowledge of radio and network technologies, including Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Located near Munich, the role offers a hybrid work model (four days in the office, one day remote) and provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-tech communication solutions for the defense industry.
