Job Summary

This role involves hands-on electrical installation and fitting within the rapidly evolving field of energy infrastructure, specifically focusing on new construction and modification of substations in Northern Germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein, and Hamburg). The successful candidate will be responsible for installing switchgear ranging from 0.4 kV to 110 kV, setting up auxiliary systems and AC/DC auxiliary power distributions, and integrating protective relay panels, control cabinets, and SCADA components. Key tasks also include the crucial cable connection of converters, cabinets, and supporting the commissioning of 110 kV primary equipment. This position requires a completed electrical technical qualification, a Class B driving license, and a willingness to travel and participate in regional assembly work, often structured around an attractive 4-day work week for over-regional assignments. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or similar)

Experience

  • Willingness to travel and perform assembly work in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein, and Hamburg
  • Professional experience in a team-oriented environment
