Job Summary

This role is for a Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design and routing of low voltage wire harnesses, component selection, and the development of peripheral clip and mounting systems for vehicles. The successful candidate will engage in global collaboration with international harness teams, focusing on new project implementation, current product enhancement, and ensuring seamless functionality with all Low Voltage (LV) devices and systems. Day-to-day tasks involve making critical design decisions regarding electrical/physical integration, working closely with suppliers on Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) to optimize cost and complexity, and supporting pre-production phases with quick-turn parts. A strong background in mechanical fundamentals, hands-on project experience (e.g., building robots, working on cars), and proficiency in 3D modeling and project tracking tools like JIRA/Confluence are essential. This position requires a proactive, problem-solving attitude to drive solutions for design and reliability concerns.
