Job Summary

This role is for a technically brilliant CAE Analysis Engineer to join a dynamic cross-functional team, playing a critical part in developing next-generation vehicle products in Berlin. The primary focus involves developing and optimizing strength and durability finite element models for revolutionary vehicle architectures, including Body-in-White (BIW), chassis, and other sub-systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing analysis for manufacturing feasibility, supporting root-cause investigations for current production issues, and producing concise management summaries. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of continuum mechanics, materials science (especially fatigue properties of metals and composites), and applied experience with CAE tools like ANSA, Abaqus, and LS-DYNA Implicit.
