Job Summary

Join the dedicated Business Unit Substation Systems in Dortmund as an Electrician specializing in systems preparation (AA). This role involves hands-on installation, testing, and commissioning of critical secondary technology within substations. Key daily tasks include mounting and connecting protection and control cabinets, installing auxiliary systems, rectifiers, battery systems, and laying/testing power and control cables. You will execute tasks in new construction, modification, and expansion projects based on technical plans, coordinate with project managers and external companies, and perform independent fault analysis and troubleshooting. Candidates must have a completed technical vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Industrial Electrician, Electrical Fitter), possess a Class B driving license, and demonstrate unrestricted willingness to travel for regional assignments, often working a 4-day week schedule. Experience in medium or high-voltage environments is highly desirable.
