Job Summary
The Landscape Association of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL) is seeking an Engineer to serve as a Principal Administrator in the field of Hazard Alarm Systems, Emergency Signaling, and Security Technology. This role involves developing, standardizing, and creating regulations for the entire LWL organization in this critical area. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and managing complex technical projects and pilot measures, often collaborating with external planners while adhering to the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) guidelines across all service phases. The successful candidate will also manage framework contracts, including drafting specifications, determining needs, and handling supplementary contract management. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical, Information, Media, or Communications Technology, or equivalent experience, coupled with multi-year professional experience in project management, particularly in communication and information technology projects. Advanced German language skills are required for this full-time, permanent position.

Education
Completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Communications, Electrical, Information, or Media Technology, or Business Informatics; or equivalent qualifications demonstrated through long-term professional experience, such as a certified Technician in the relevant fields with extensive experience.
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in project leadership and control
- Experience in managing projects related to communication technology and information technology
- Experience with AVA programs (Tendering, Awarding, Accounting)
- Experience with project tools for project leadership and control
- Knowledge of VOB (Construction Contract Procedures), VgV (Public Procurement Regulation), and HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) is desirable
