Job Summary

This role involves driving the digital transformation within the LWL Construction and Property Management department. As an IT and Digitalization Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT infrastructure, ranging from hardware procurement and inventory management to the administration and development of Document Management Systems (DMS). You will play a pivotal role in optimizing business processes through digital strategy implementation, including the introduction of AI and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Day-to-day tasks include conducting business process analyses, managing IT security compliance, and providing technical support and training to staff. This position is particularly attractive due to its long-term stability within a major public sector employer, offering a permanent contract with flexible working hours (full or part-time) and the opportunity to actively shape the digital landscape of a large regional association.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Computer Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Clerk, or IT Systems Electronician with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT administration and hardware/software support
  • Experience in conducting business process analysis and identifying IT optimization potential
  • Experience in project management, specifically within digitalization or software implementation projects
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting software training workshops
  • Experience in public sector administration or IT service management is beneficial
