Job Summary

This role involves close collaboration with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Owners to build and maintain robust data pipelines and products. A core responsibility is the development and operation of Databricks pipelines using Python, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines, and Jobs/Workflows. The Data Scientist will utilize Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and orchestration, focusing on integrating and optimizing both SQL and NoSQL databases. Key to success is ensuring data quality through versioning, testing, monitoring (SLAs/SLOs), and automated deployments, alongside managing the cost and performance of production pipelines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong DataOps mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach, contributing to the establishment of standards, reusable templates, and comprehensive documentation.
