Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Development Engineer to drive technology forward by focusing on the development and rigorous testing of communication software, particularly for battery-electric control units (ECUs). Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and overseeing continuous test strategies within SiL/HiL environments to ensure comprehensive software verification, strictly adhering to industry standards like Automotive SPICE and ISTQB. You will be responsible for creating and implementing detailed test cases and plans, requiring close interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external international development partners. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics) and demonstrate excellent practical experience in vehicle and ECU networking protocols (FlexRay, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN). Proficiency with C/C++, Python, and key development tools such as CANOE, PREEvision, GITLAB, and Jira is essential. Required Skills

Education

University Degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Technical Informatics, Communications Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field. ISTQB certification (preferred).

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in vehicle and ECU networking (FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN FD, LIN)
  • Professional experience applying C/C++, Python, SiL, HiL, CANOE, PREEvision, GITLAB, Jira, and Confluence
