Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership role focused on building and managing the Controls Engineering and Automation departments for a leading, system-critical industrial automation company. The Head of Controls Engineering will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of approximately 40 employees across five teams, driving growth and expanding the product portfolio to include Robotics, IoT, and advanced control technologies. Key responsibilities involve ensuring quality standards, functional safety, managing resources and budgets, and coordinating interfaces with mechanical, electrical planning, project management, security, and IT teams. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, coupled with significant leadership experience in controls engineering and expertise in areas like emulation, virtual commissioning, and cybersecurity requirements, positioning the company for future digital transformation.
