Job Summary

This role involves leading the digitalization efforts within the Stuttgart municipal road traffic authority, specifically focusing on the further development and management of the VIZneo traffic and information database application, which facilitates online application and processing of administrative services. The Project Manager will be crucial in coordinating the provision and utilization of traffic data in compliance with EU regulations and other legal requirements. A significant part of the job involves active participation in EU-wide projects concerning data provision, traffic safety, and mobility, requiring coordination across the city and attendance at international workshops. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant administrative or public management degree, excellent German and English language skills, and an interest in digital tools and innovative processes, ensuring the city advances its sustainable mobility goals.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Digital Administrative Management or Public Management, or a degree as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/-in), or Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in, former Angestelltenlehrgang II), or Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungswirt/-in) with subsequent promotion to the higher non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digital tools and innovative processes
  • Multiple years of professional experience in regulatory administration, preferably in a road traffic authority (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of project management (advantageous)
  • Experience representing the traffic authority in meetings and working groups
