Job Summary

This permanent position within the Stuttgart Municipal Drainage Utility (SES) focuses on the operational management and optimization of three external wastewater treatment plants. The Operational Engineer acts as the Project Representative for implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects, with a primary focus on overseeing the major BIM-supported reconstruction of the Möhringen treatment plant. Key responsibilities include ensuring secure project leadership, developing and evaluating optimization measures for processes, and contributing to overarching departmental tasks. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Environmental Technology, Process Engineering, or Civil Engineering specializing in Urban Water Management, along with strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes. A supplementary qualification in BIM or digitalization and prior experience in the wastewater sector are highly desirable. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in Environmental Technology, Process Engineering, or Civil Engineering (specializing in Urban Water Management) or a comparable field. Additional qualification in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digitalization, or Process Optimization is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in wastewater technology (desirable)
