Job Summary

This role involves serving as the Deputy Head of the 'Organization and Personnel' unit within the Office for Social Affairs and Participation in Stuttgart, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping innovative HR solutions and organizational change processes, covering the full spectrum of HR work (excluding payroll). Day-to-day responsibilities include providing expert advice to the ten-person team, ensuring quality and knowledge management, and handling fundamental organizational and legal matters. The position requires conceiving, steering, and presenting strategic HR concepts and actively participating in recruitment projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma) in Public Management, Law, or Business Administration with a focus on HR and/or Labor Law, or equivalent degree; alternatively, completed training as a certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in - former Angestelltenlehrgang II)

Experience

  • Professional experience in Human Resources and/or Organization
  • Experience in the public administration sector (desirable)
  • Experience in project work (advantageous)
