Job Summary

The City of Stuttgart is seeking a dedicated professional for the Parks, Cemeteries, and Forestry Department to lead the transition and implementation of a new digital Green Space Management application. This role involves comprehensive project leadership, coordinating the planning, IT-technical execution, and consultative development of the new system, replacing the existing specialized application. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring IT-side consulting, implementing digitized workflows, creating concepts, statistical evaluations, and reports, and establishing quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for IT user and procedural support, coordinating employee training, and ensuring the continuous development of the new application. Key requirements include a degree in Geoinformatics or equivalent professional experience, strong knowledge of GIS, Geodata Management, and IT project implementation, coupled with excellent German communication skills.
