Job Summary

The GWDG, a national supercomputing center operating the powerful HLRN-IV system “Emmy,” is seeking two Generative AI Developers to join their interdisciplinary Computing team. This role is central to advancing the organization's AI offerings, including the further development of AI services such as Chat AI, Voice AI, and Image AI, and optimizing inference jobs on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. Candidates will support scientists and external companies in developing AI solutions, design appropriate customer-use case solutions based on existing infrastructure, and represent the GWDG at conferences. Key requirements include a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong programming skills (especially Python), expertise in Linux and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Gitlab), and foundational knowledge of Generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion models).
