Job Summary

The GWDG is seeking two Generative AI Developers to join an interdisciplinary team focused on High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI services. This role involves the further development of cutting-edge AI services, including Chat AI, Voice AI, and Image AI, and optimizing inference jobs on the organization's powerful HPC cluster, HLRN-IV (Emmy). Developers will be crucial in supporting scientists and companies by designing and documenting AI solutions for specific customer use cases, leveraging platforms like SAIA (Scalable Artificial Intelligence Accelerator) and participating in national and international research projects. Key requirements include a university degree in Computer Science or related fields, strong programming skills in Python, excellent Linux and DevOps knowledge (Gitlab, CI/CD), database expertise (PostgreSQL), and foundational understanding of generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion models) and frameworks (Pytorch/Tensorflow).
