Job Summary

Join the Omexom Substation South Business Unit team in Rutesheim as a Primary Planner, contributing your electrical engineering expertise to exciting energy technology projects. This role involves the independent and timely primary planning of open-air and gas-insulated switchgear in the medium, high, and extra-high voltage sectors. Key daily tasks include creating primary technical drawings (layouts, cross-sections), corresponding material lists, and performing thermal and mechanical calculations for pipes and cables, including short-circuit calculations. You will also prepare specifications for steel/foundation statics and draft technical reports and conversion concepts. Success in this position requires a technical degree or university qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Energy Technology, and strong application knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D and MS Office.
