Job Summary

Join an engaged team as a Commissioning Engineer / Protection Technician, actively contributing to the success of the Southern Division. This role involves the parametrization and testing of digital protection devices in medium and high-voltage systems, alongside the commissioning of primary and secondary systems for energy supply companies. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning control system equipment, generating technical reports, analyzing circuit-technical project designs, and systematic troubleshooting of electrical system faults. The ideal candidate holds a degree or advanced vocational qualification (Master/Technician) in Electrical or Energy Engineering, possesses initial professional experience in protection technology commissioning, and is proficient with industry-standard protection devices, software, and testing equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an attractive compensation package, a company car, 30 days of vacation, and opportunities to shape the energy transition through innovative and sustainable projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician/Electronics Technician with further qualification as a Master or Technician in Electrical Engineering, or a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in the commissioning of protection technology
  • Initial professional experience in commissioning primary and secondary systems
  • Experience in handling protection devices, associated industry-standard software, and corresponding testing equipment
