Job Summary

This role involves strengthening the IT and Cyber Resilience of the TU Clausthal's computing center. The specialist will focus on building a central documentation and asset management solution for servers and services, ensuring compliance with BSI Basic Protection requirements. Key responsibilities include handling IT security incidents, implementing measures like 2FA/MFA, and applying tiering concepts to enhance system resistance against cyberattacks. Additionally, the role supports established colleagues in configuring central storage and backup systems. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT apprenticeship (preferably IT Specialist), deep knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu), and experience with configuration automation tools. Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach are essential for success in this demanding and varied role within a dynamic university environment.

Experience
