Job Summary

This role is designed for an Engineer transitioning into a Project Management position focusing on environmental measurement technology and continuous emissions monitoring (CEMs) in Germany. Initially, the incumbent will undergo a 6-12 month intensive training phase, gaining practical expertise in emissions measurement, functional testing, and calibration of stationary CEM systems, particularly under § 29b BImSchG regulations. Following training, the individual will progressively manage increasingly complex projects, aiming for full Project Manager autonomy within 2-3 years. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing, executing, and documenting measurements, sampling pollutants, analyzing data, and creating detailed test reports and measurement plans. The role requires strong customer relationship management, supporting client acquisition, and significant travel (60-70% field work, 20-30% overnight stays) primarily across Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. Candidates must hold a relevant university degree and possess 3-5 years of professional experience in measurement, control, and analysis technology.
