Job Summary

This role seeks a Business Informatics Specialist to drive the integration of digital technologies, particularly Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), within the regional innovation ecosystem of Berlin. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing corporate processes to identify AI-based optimization potentials, building and maintaining a network of corporate partners, and leading innovation initiatives. Daily tasks include designing and executing innovation workshops and AI hackathons in collaboration with Berlin companies, independently managing innovation projects, and potentially supervising student software developers. Key requirements include a university degree in Business Informatics or a related field, knowledge of business process management, and programming skills. This position offers the opportunity to actively shape Berlin's technological future through interdisciplinary project work and the transfer of cutting-edge AI research into practical business applications, contributing significantly to regional innovation.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's level or equivalent) in Business Informatics, or Business Administration with a focus on IT, or Informatics with a focus on Business Administration (BWL)

Experience

  • Professional experience in business process analysis for optimization potentials
  • Experience in conceiving and conducting innovation workshops and hackathons
  • Experience in leading innovation projects independently
  • Potential experience in guiding and mentoring student software developers
  • Initial experience with Generative AI is desirable
