Job Summary

This role is for a Specialist in Water and Wastewater Laboratory Analytics, focusing on planning, steering, and technically guiding laboratory analyses for process and surface water. The core responsibilities involve serving as the technical testing lead for maintaining laboratory accreditation (DIN EN ISO 17025), ensuring strict quality standards, conducting internal audits, and evaluating complex analytical results to generate official reports and technical statements. The specialist is also responsible for managing the operation and development of analytical instrumentation, introducing new methods, and coordinating operational monitoring programs for process water facilities in consultation with regulatory authorities. Candidates must hold a relevant degree in Chemistry or Environmental Engineering, possess proven professional experience in water analytics, and demonstrate strong analytical thinking and regulatory knowledge, particularly concerning German water laws and DIN EN ISO 17025. C1 level German proficiency is required.
