Job Summary

This Senior Development Engineer role focuses on the lifecycle management and enhancement of military communication systems, specifically telemetry and flight termination modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing obsolescence issues within these high-frequency and electronic assemblies, developing and implementing solutions for clearance, and adapting frequency settings. The engineer will be crucial in the design, evaluation, adaptation, and qualification of both internally developed and externally sourced RF and electronic components. Key tasks also involve setting up and commissioning data telemetry and flight termination assemblies, ensuring compliance with safety-critical redundant power supply requirements, and maintaining meticulous technical documentation. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology, coupled with strong experience in wireless transmission systems, particularly in safety-critical applications, and excellent written and spoken English skills.

Education

Completed degree in Communications Technology or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study, or completed vocational training with corresponding additional qualification

Experience

  • Experience in handling wireless transmission systems, ideally in safety-critical applications
  • Fundamental knowledge in the development, integration, or evaluation of high-frequency and electronic assemblies
  • Experience in handling safety-critical systems, including meticulous work methods and high quality requirements
  • Knowledge in the application of technical documentation and formal verification procedures
