Job Summary

This is a pivotal leadership role within SAP's SCM Optimization organization, focused on driving the long-term initiative to integrate Quantum Technologies into enterprise software. The Development Manager will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of quantum experts in Munich, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Day-to-day activities include inspiring and developing the team, collaborating with architects and product managers to develop and execute the integration of Quantum Technologies into SAP's SCM Optimization & Data Science solutions, and ensuring these solutions deliver significant business value. This position requires strong leadership in software development, deep expertise in Quantum Computing and Operations Research, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-domain environments crossing technical, academic, and business boundaries.
